Curious about my handle?
The moniker Palette Jac was something I'd developed in high school. My initials are JAC, and at the time, I was primarily a painter. While color palettes are essential in every creative field; and I still feel the name represents my design work, it originally referred to a physical painter’s palette.
It was also meant to be a play on words, referencing palette jacks. Much like how they're used to move heavy loads, a strong creative foundation can carry big ideas.
Turning curiosity and creativity into bold designs.
Good luck keeping track of me in a grocery or liquor store.. I'm like a kid in a candy store. To me, walking through them is a creative's version of a playground, where every label and package tells a unique story, sparking new ideas for my own work.
I believe every design starts with a solid foundation, so I approach projects with thorough research and fully realized concepts before diving in. This ensures each project is intentional and impactful.
Inspiration?
I find it everywhere. music, nature, video games, you name it.
When I’m not designing, you’ll find me experimenting with recipes in the kitchen or I’m probably curled up and immersed in a video game, drawn to the same vibrant worlds and creative storytelling that inspire my own work.
