This design project celebrated National Rescue Dog Day with a fundraiser for Philly PAWS, a local animal shelter dedicated to rescuing and rehoming pets in need. It’s a visual love letter to rescue animals and the people who give them a second chance.
Working on the Philly PAWS fundraiser was an incredibly rewarding experience. Knowing it supported the very shelter where I got my own furry daughter, made every design detail feel that much more meaningful.
I drew inspiration from some of Philly PAWS’ adorable residents—Flapjack, the sweetest sleepy cat; Chubs, an adorable guinea pig with a big personality; and Nyla, a playful, tail-wagging dog who could melt anyone’s heart. Their stories reminded me how much love rescue animals bring into our lives, and I poured that emotion into my design. It was a small way to give back to the animals who give us so much.
